      Panchakarma Ayurvedic treatment for Bipolar Disorder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      In Ayurveda, it is mentioned that it occurs due to imbalance in Vata, Pitta, and Kapha and also imbalance in the mental properties Satva, Rajas and Tamas.Treatment duration 3 to 5 weeks based on the body Prakruti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Abhyanga Oil Massage<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      Panchakarma Herbal Medicated Oil Massage. It might be performed for 45 to 60 mins. Oil will be applied to the whole body which starts from the Head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Swedana<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

        Hot Fomentation (Moist heat) is applied on the same areas as that of Abhyanga. It is performed for about 10 to 15 mins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        2. Improves Blood supply<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Shirovasti Therapy<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

          During this treatment, the person will be in a sitting position followed by the massage. Later an elongated cap is tied to the head and warm Medicated oil will be poured into the cap. The medicated oil will be retained for about 20 mins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. Prevents hair falls<\/li>
          2. Used to treat Alzheimer, Parkinson\u2019s<\/li>
          3. Relives from anxiety, Depression<\/li>
          4. Used to treat Insomnia<\/li>
          5. Strengthens hair roots<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Thalapodichil Therapy<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

            Head massage will be performed with a medicated oil. The Herbal paste will be applied to the patient\u2019s scalp. Later, the scalp will be covered with a banana leaf and tied with a rope. A tiny hole is made on the leaf thru which the medicated oil will be poured. Treatment is performed for about 30 to 45 mins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              During this treatment process, Oil massage will be performed initially followed by Njavara Kizhi therapy. A medical decoction will be tied in the cloth and will be applied to the joints and muscles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Siro Pichu<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

              The Head will be massaged with a medicated oil. Later, Medicated Oil soaked cotton clothes will be placed on top of the head. This treatment is good for the scalp and head as a whole. This treatment is performed for about 20 to 30 mins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
