{"id":305,"date":"2020-05-20T16:31:42","date_gmt":"2020-05-20T11:01:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/myhitha.com\/blog\/?p=305"},"modified":"2020-05-20T17:13:56","modified_gmt":"2020-05-20T11:43:56","slug":"pregnancy-diet-chart-in-second-trimester","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/myhitha.com\/blog\/pregnancy-diet-chart-in-second-trimester\/","title":{"rendered":"Pregnancy Diet Chart in Second Trimester"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Pregnancy Diet Chart in Second Trimester, Fruits and Vegetables<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second Trimester: 14 to 26 weeks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pregnancy Diet Chart in Second Trimester<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It is advisable to have Leafy vegetables daily<\/li><li>It is advisable to take Dry food  such as Idly, Biscuits etc to overcome nausea <\/li><li>Iron, Folic acid and Proteins help in baby organ formation<\/li><li>Good to have one small cup of leafy vegetables daily<\/li><li>Advisable to have an Egg in the breakfast<\/li><li>One cup of milk per day is advisable.<\/li><li>A balanced diet is good for healthy organ formation<\/li><li>Carbohydrates, Iron, Folic acid, protein, fat, Vitamin C, B Vitamins.<\/li><li>Rice or Chapathi will provides us with Carbohydrates <\/li><li>Dals and Non-Veg are a good source of proteins<\/li><li>Fruits, Vegetables, Curd, Milk will provide a balanced deity.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Good food during 2nd Trimester<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Dry fruits such as Almonds, Walnuts, Figs, Raisins, 1 to 2 Dry dates<\/li><li>Pomegranates, Sweet Lime, Oranges, Avocados, Bananas, Moderate amount of Mangoes, Apples, Musk melon, Kiwi<\/li><li>Vegetables such as Carrots, Ridge gourd, Spinach and other leafy vegetables, Beetroot, Broccoli, cucumber, Okra etc<\/li><li>A good amount of water<\/li><li>Coconut water, Curd, Milk, Egg, Chicken (Small quantity), Mutton (Small quantity), Salmon Fish (Little careful as to avoid mercury intake)<\/li><li>Oats, Idly, Biscuits<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Foods that can be avoided during pregnancy<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Consuming a high quantity of fish<\/li><li>Sprouts as many say that it might have some allergies<\/li><li>Pineapple<\/li><li>Papaya<\/li><li>Grapes<\/li><li>Brinjal and Okra (As pesticides will be applied once in a week). Organic is preferable<\/li><li>The high amount of Tamarind<\/li><li>Spicy foods<\/li><li>Outside foods<\/li><li>Coffee<\/li><li>Tea (as pesticides will be applied on the leaves)<\/li><li>Broiler chickens which are raised improperly.
