Things to check before purchasing Mango
- The fruit should be in a good size to purchase and taste.
- Make sure that you are not purchasing much early as it tastes sour.
- If the fruit is not in the actual size and appears colourful means then it is ripened artificially.
- Usually, customers fall prey for the Benisha, Himam Pasand and Malgoba as it appears colourful.
- Natural ripening usually takes 6 to 7 days so anything before that is not good.
- Just check surrounding for Carbide sachets or Ethylene Sachets as artificial fruits are not good for children.
- It is advisable to purchase direct from farmers and plan for natural ripening as the ripening process can be adulterated at later points.
